Metal / Zirconia Primer

Metal/Zirconia Primer is a single-component priming agent designed to promote the adhesion of metal alloys or oxide ceramics (zirconium and aluminium oxide) to methacrylate-based luting composites (e.g. Multilink). As a result, high-strength bonding values are achieved.

A single layer of Metal/Zirconia Primer is applied to the metal or ceramic surface and should be left to react for 180 seconds.

Note

• Metal/Zirconia Primer contains a phosphonic acid compound as the active ingredient, which establishes a chemical bond to oxidic surfaces.
  For glass and silicate ceramics (e.g. IPS Empress Esthetic), Monobond-S silanizing agent is recommended.
