Cavifil Injector

Light-curing single-dose restoratives from Ivoclar Vivadent are accurately applied in the cavity with the Cavifil Injector from Ivoclar Vivadent. Neither the help of a spatula nor a modelling instrument is needed. The long tip of the injector allows the molars at the back of the oral cavity to be reached comfortably. Depending on the position of the jaw and the cavity, the capsules containing the restorative materials - also called Cavifils - can be turned 360° in the injector. In addition, high-viscosity materials can be dispensed with ease because of the high transmission ratio of the injector. If a variety of shades or degrees of opacity are in use, the Cavifils can be changed easily. In order to work even more ergonomically, a growing number of dentists are using two injectors.
Not only Ivoclar Vivadent materials, but also a large number of products of other manufacturers can be dispensed with the Cavifil Injector, even though Ivoclar Vivadent primarily designed its injector to hold its own materials.
