The Astrobrush polishing system produces lustrous results without using polishing paste, as each bristle acts like a small polishing instrument.

Indications

High gloss polishing of restorations made of composites, compomers and glass ionomer cements.

Astrobrush is supplied in three different shapes:

Small Cup
Anterior and cervical restorations
Occlusal surfaces
Removal of stains near the gingiva
For use in confined areas

Large Cup
Polishing of large posterior restoration surfaces
Removal of stains

Point
Polishing of occlusal fissures
Proximal areas

Working principle
The abrasive medium silicon carbide is integrated into the special fibres. As the bristles are worn, fresh abrasive medium is exposed on the surface. The brushes, therefore, demonstrate a consistently high polishing performance. The desired results are achieved more efficiently than with conventional polishers.
