Phosphate-bonded precision inivestment for the model casting technique. It can either be used for the shock-heat method or for conventional heating with delay. There is a setting time of only 30 minutes when the shock-heat method is used. Then, the mold is placed in a preheating furnace and heated up to a maximum of 1050º C. After 60 minutes, the mold can be cast, either with or without a casting ring. The shock-heat method supplies smooth of the casting as well as an excellent fit. Expansion is regulated by adjusting the liquid concentration.
